Maria Erdmute Kleo lives with her partner Torsten and 5 children in the north of Cottbus. She was born 1963 in Dahme and grew up with her 3 brothers in a tiny little village between rural tradition, the east german educational system and the parental anthroposophic contacts. After 10 years at an east german school she trained as an architectural draftsman to then work as superviser at a dormitary for 6 years while studying part-time in evening school. 1992 she became co-founder at the Waldorf Nursery School in Cottbus. Encouraged by her acquaintances Claus Dittmer (Dresden) and Thomas Brunner she began to work more intensely on anthroposophic issues. Since 2007 the Sielow Culture Barn is existing and the Farminitiative Döbbrick Street for lectures and workshops. She also plays the puppet theater ´Blue Apple` with Kathrin Brunner. In 2008 she left her work at the Waldorf Nursery and is currently supporting children's development while caring for them on the farm.
