was born 1970 in East Germany. She spent her childhood and schooltime in Germany, Bulgaria and Pakistan - a moving eastwards that made different worlds become home. Later in her life she traveled for 15months through Asia, Australia and South America. Following her travels she came to "rest" in Berlin to begin her training: she studied eurythmy, experienced motherhood, and participated in group projects such as a residential community project, founding a nursery and others. Ulja Novatschkova engaged herself with questions of art, education, and society. She initiated and co-oprated in several disscussion groups, conferences and artistic performances. In 2006/07 she organized Jahrestage I and II. In 2009 start of the publishing project Edition Immanente.
